This is the first half of a documentary on one of my favorites projects, Bryan Clark and The New Lyceum Players. This footage documents the recording process of our first album release, “Southern Intermission” now available! Here is a picture our guitar player and my buddy Steve Stokes took of the Coliseum in Biloxi, MS Saturday, April 20th. We had a great show with The Band Perry. It was awesome to finally play the arena I used to catch shows at when I was a kid.

Never have I worked with two guys who pushed my playing and songwriting ability like Denny Jiosa (guitars) and Jon Boehm (bass) did with this project. It’s your classic instrumental rock power trio! I’d venture to say it’s the collaborative work I’m most proud of to date. Hopefully you’ll hear more from this project soon.
This is a hard rock project that I was happy to be a part of in 2006. Lead guitarist/vox, John Crone wrote most of the songs, engineered and produced this album. Get to know Jon Boehm-bass. We work together on many projects and he’s a monster! Matthew Portwood holds down rhythm guitar. Catchy riffs and great songs…this one rocks!
